It wasn't a bad crash he just slid off into the kick boards, seemed
perfectly fine afterwards and in the bar.

Hi everyone,Re Steve Ruskin's observations of Coventry Speedway,
we agree with every point that he made and have an observation
of our own,did anybody notice the distinct lack of Children running
around the stadium?Could this be due to the fact that Coventry
charge L5 per child to enter? It cost us L30 Saturday night to gain
admittance plus an extra L2 for 2 programmes. At Kings Lynn
it costs us L23 for admittance this includes programmes yes
there is only a difference of L9 but to many this could be the
difference between attending or not.At the cost of L1 per child
we do not mind taking along a Schoolfriend or two of our children
who know's next time they ask to go their parents might take them,
like what they see and attend on a regular basis surely it is better
to keep the price of a child's admission low to encourage families
to come along.Next time Kings Lynn race at Coventry knowing
the cost of admission there we will wonder is it worth it?

Howdy All,

Just letting you all know the Oz GP Competition is now
open. Basicly the same rules as last year, that is send in your
predictions (to sboz@vtown.com.au ), as to where the Four Aussies will
place in each of the Grands Prix starting with Round One.
Example.........Leigh Adams 2nd, Jason Crump 4th, Ryan Sullivan 6th and
Todd Wiltshire 8th.

Points awarded this year are 6 for an exact prediction, 3 points for one
off the riders finishing place, 2 for two places off and 1 point for 3
places off. Confused? Check out the SBOZ web site. Plenty of links to
the 'Oz GP Comp. page'.

Czech Grand Prix round 1 is on May 6th so plenty of time to
ponder, or fire them in now. Good Luck

I think Edward was riding a 500cc bike. I don't know if there is a lot
of under-15 riders who competitively race Speedway. I think the
youngsters mainly race Grasstrack.

Promoters not only in the UK but in other countries as well including
Australia think firstly of themselves and of the sport second.

And that is the BOTTOM line.

Just had a phone call to say that tonight's meeting at Sheffield has
been cancelled due to the track being under water - apparently.
That now leaves the Czech guy's hoping that the rain goes, so that
the meeting in Edinburgh, Workington and Newcastle can go
ahead. How are things looking up there?
