Randy GreenNickname: Randy Green was a Grand National Flat-tracker who took up Speedway. First at Gary Densford's I.C.E. events before racing for British Speedway clubs Hackney (1987) - Bradford (1987 & 1988) and Sheffield (1988). He also represented the USA on several occasions in International Speedway and Longtrack Thanks to all who supplied me the information on this talented American Speedway racer Ian Harwood "I remember Randy riding for Bradford in 1988. I'd gone there to watch Belle Vue after work on a Saturday night. Randy came out during the interval to do a few laps, maybe loosening up a new engine, and managed to smack it hard into the fence. Not on the bend as you might imagine, but halfway down the back straight. Being speedway it wasn't the noise that brought everyone running onto the track, but the sudden eerie silence. Memory tells me he only appeared to suffer a good shaking up, but it might have been worse." Bike: British Teams: Major Honors
