Billy "The Kid" Janniro won all six of his races, including the Rider of the Night Final, in his only official domestic appearance and The Victorville Vikings defeated the Industry Aces to capture the Major Speedway League Championship at the season finale at Wheel2Wheel Raceway in Victorville.

The team portion began with Industry's Ricky Wells winning the first heat, but Dale Facchini and Eddie Castro were able to take second and third to earn a drawn heat.

Janniro's first race at Wheel2Wheel in three years pitted him against the formidable Ryan Fisher, but Janniro acclimated himself to the track quickly and scored an easy win.

The next heat had Brad Sauer go down in turn one, leaving his Aces partner, Greg Ayers, nowhere to go resulting in a pileup that forced Sauer to withdraw from the meeting. On the restart, Ayers discovered his machine was broken during an easy 5-1 romp for Dale Facchini and Shawn McConnell.

Rudy Laurer led a Viking 4-2, but that was counted by a Janniro-led Aces 4-2 in the next race to make the score 17-13 for the Vikings.

Fisher and J.T. Mabry combined for a 5-1, but Wells and Robbie Sauer struck back with a 4-2 for the Aces. A drawn heat was followed by another Wells-Robbie Sauer 4-2. The Laurer-Lyons duo scored their second 4-2 to make the score 33-27 with two team events to go.

Janniro won the penultimate heat, but Facchini and McConnell kept John Marquez at the back to secure a six point lead and lock up the championship before the Nominated Heat.

Janniro and Wells blitzed the final team heat with a blazing fast 5-1 to make the final score 37-35 for the title-winning Vikings.

In the first Rider of the Night Semi, Fisher got the best start and led Wells all the way to the checkered flag and into the Final. Janniro scored an easy win the second semi with Castro taking second and transferring to the Final. McConnell and Robbie Sauer had an awesome side-by-side four-lap battle in the Consolation with McConnell's inside line ultimately paying off against Robbie Sauer's outside line.

Janniro selected the outside gate for the Final and used it to trap the field in turn one. After the first bend the Coventry Bees rider switched to the outside line and left little doubt as to who the dominant rider was on the season's final evening. Janniro scorched the track with a runaway victory. Meanwhile, Fisher ran second with constant pressure from Wells. Wells went to the outside in the final corner and mustered just enough speed to beat Fisher to the line for second by inches while Castro finished fourth.

Allen Doss got the best start in the Second Division Main Event and was never challenged en route to the victory. Philip Harmatiuk finished second, Rudy Laurer was third, and Robert Christian finished fourth.

Jeff Remington led all four laps of the Third Division Main Event for his first main event victory. J.C. Masters finished second, Brad Moreau was third, Tony DeAlmeida finished fourth, and Fred Remington was fifth.

Austin Novratil and Russell Green had a spirited battle in the Youth Main Event, but Novratil took home the victory.

Nathan Remington defeated Erika Lyons in the Pee Wee Main Event.

This meeting marked the final speedway event in Southern California for 2007. The sixteen-event 2008 Wheel2Wheel speedway season is tentatively scheduled to begin with a Saturday afternoon race on February 2.
