Edward (Larry) LaHaderne III

May 28, 1957 - June 16, 2006

2006 Larry LaHaderne

Larry passed away suddenly in his home on June 15, 2006 at 10:19 p.m. He was born and raised in the Bay Area.

He retired from Carlsen Porsche of Palo Alto after 16 years of dedicated service. Eleven years ago, he moved to Foresthill with his long-term love Jennifer and his two dogs (Bounce and Wrinkles). He owned two businesses, "Always in Season" gift shop and his dream of a Bait-n-Tackle shop (Gotta Fish). He also raced Speedway motorcycles the last few weeks (#528) and a few flat track races as well. Other lifetime dreams he made come true, he was founder of the now "Fathers Day Memorial Kids Fishing Derby" of Foresthill.

He was a very proud member of the ECV (Clampers). He belonged to several chapters including Chapter 58 and Chapter 1850. He was a proud charter member of Chapter 3. His vest, pins, grub steak ribbons, his first red shirt and his sheepskins will be framed in his honor.

He was a very proud father of two daughters Danielle Nicole of Discovery Bay and Amber Rose of Palmdale. He is preceded in death by his parents Ed and Irene LaHarderne; his grandparents; his dog Wrinkles and too many friends to mention. He had many friends he called family and many strangers he called friends.

Please come celebrate his life with us. A memorial service will be held July 16, 2006 at the Memorial Hall in Foresthill at 3 p.m. The Memorial Hall is located on Harrison Street one block off Foresthill Road. Donations can be sent to his home attention: Jennifer Kerek, P.O. Box 965, Foresthill, CA 95631, or at the memorial. All would be greatly appreciated to pay for his final expenses.
