"Big" John Perry, the 'big' true gentleman of speedway in Canada. John rides with passion and a unique style that makes him a hard rider to get around. He is a real crowd favorite and always provides a classy show for everyone involved. Having been an active Director on the CSRA board, he formulated some great ideas and helped build some great events throughout the year, for example, 'The Dean Benesics Night' which has become a huge draw for riders and spectators alike yearly. The races against #21 Phil Small throughout the 2003 season, were the complete highlight for the events every week. His sportsmanlike conduct and his acceptance of the loss of the Division 2 title at the last meeting of the year, really said it all about "Big" John. A truly great Guy!!
