In only it's third week of operation, things were heating up at New York State's newest oval venue. The number of participants had already reached over 70 and spectator crowds were enthusiastic.

The speedway program was wide open ready for a new leader to step up to stake his claim after reigning US Open and multi-time East Coast Speedway Champion Tom Sephton had retired two weeks prior. Enter Jeremy Parsons. Parsons had been Sephton's main competition to this point and was now ready to take the drivers seat.

The handicap semis began with Parsons finding out that it wouldn't be an easy night. On the yardage in front of him were some very fast guys including a youngster who had been going very well, Mikey Buman, and two experienced veterans, George Lazor and Dave Oakden. Oakden took an early lead and held it for two laps only to give way to the hard charging Buman on lap three who eventually won. Parsons got a better start than Lazor and was able to make up the ten yard deficit by turn one. While Lazor tried hard for several laps he could not get by Parsons who was able to hold the last transfer position.

Semifinal number two pitted the young sensation, Adam Mittl, and a back from retirement, Joel "Bull" Parsons against two well-known locals, "Mean" Gene Bonsignore and Mike Robinson. Mittl and Parsons made quick work of the rough track moving up to 1st and 2nd within a couple laps. Bonsignore held third for 3 laps before Robinson made a nice pass for the 3rd and final transfer slot.

Scratch Semi number one was full of heavy hitters as Jeremy Parons, Mittl and Lazor faced each other along with Joel Parsons. Jeremy made a solid start to gain an early lead and Joel Parsons snuck through into second while Mittl and Lazor got tangled on lap three. The order would stay that way as they crossed the finish line.

Scratch semi two was thought to be a battle between three locals, Robinson, Bonsignore and Oakden but Buman would have a say in it. Oakden and Bonsignore battled back and forth until Oakden took command on lap three. Buman was able to move under Bonsignore at the same time to seal his place in the Main. Robinson shed a chain and was stuck with fourth place.

The Last Chance Scratch Race was fairly uneventful as Mittl was able to outgate Bonsignore from the inside and comfortably won while Bonsignore was second over Lazor and Robinson.

The Scratch Main saw the Parsons brothers explode out into first and second from the inside gates. As Jeremy took the lead there would be no looking back. He ran away with it while Joel held scond and Dave Oakden rode smoothly to third. Buman held off the challenges of Mittl wo had to start from gate five by being the last chance winner.

For the Handicap Main, Jeremy Parsons came from the 70 yard line while Mittl sat on the 60 with Oakden on the 50, Robinson on the 50 and Joel Pasons and Buman on the 40. Off the start, Robinson caught major traction and looped his bike. He suffered a severly bruised tailbone and did not make the restart. On the second try it appeared Buman may win as he got out front and was going well but after three laps Jeremy Parsons had knifed his way through traffic and was able to slide Buman over. Joel Parsons had remained in third for a few laps and Okden had his hands full with Mittl try to overtake him for fourth. The last two laps the order did not change and The Court Jester Athletic Club sponsored Jeremy Parsons became the first rider to win both the Scratch and Handicap Mains at BMS.

In Support Speedway Action, flat-tracker Jeremy Thompson won the feature over the very talented Corey Brookes.
