Champion - Owego, New York, USA - May 31, 2008

Another great night at Champion, the momentum keeps building. Considering the weird weather all day long and the fact that all the car tracks canceled early due to how bad the weather looked, it was awesome for us to have such a good crowd!
We were down a few riders with several
deciding not to chance the drive and Tuff McBride had to sit out with injuries from last weeks crash but the show was still quite good. The Support Class racing has been outstanding. Katalin Davis finally put it all together to take home the Support A Main and incredibly, our own version of Hugh Randolph, 73 year old Grandfather of 12 or 13- Henry Hanzo, won the Support B! Good to see Shawn "Steamboat" Engel back, who rode well. Many thanks to "Jammin" Jeff Garlinghouse and Family who sponsored the nights events. Thanks again to Jon Stasiefski who sponsored week one.
Next race is at Action Park this coming Friday. The next event at Champion is the Larry McBride Memorial on June 14th which should feature some great racing plus a live band. Tom Burge and Craig Estelle should be on the card plus Cam Rafferty's Dad said Cam may be out for that one. It was great to hear Joe Morello's voice back in the announcers booth last night and he will be announcing June 14th also.
Scratch Main
Mikey Buman drew gate one for the second week in a row and rode a good inside line to take the win. Lenny McBride was starting to look like his old self again!
