There was quite a gathering for Legends Night at Industry. The third division brain trust of Ron Mongenel, Kip McClain, Robert Griffith, and Craig Sprecher gather for a strategy season. Sprecher won the Support B main. Mike Faria looked resplendent in his new red leathers.

Joe Donaldson makes a rare appearance at Industry and sweeps the Support class. Kevin and Dalton Leedy are ready for the next heat. Mike and Maverick Molloy look ready to roll, however the Hellbound Speedway crew had a heck of a night with Maverick and Mike Salyer taking soil samples throughout the evening.

Former National Champion Charlie "The Edge" Venegas took home the main event victory on the Bruce Penhall Night of Legends at Industry Speedway.

Venegas started in gate one in the main event and entered turn one side-by-side with John "Mongoose" Marquez who had started in gate five. Venegas used the inside line to his advantage as he led the field on the back straight while Marquez couldn't find sufficient traction on the outside. Jimmy "Little Animal" Fishback, hoping to win for the third straight week, moved into second on the back straight and began chasing Venegas. Fishback continuously stalked the leader the entire distance, but Venegas never succumbed to the pressure. Venegas was first to the checkered flag, Fishback finished second, "Fast" Eddie Castro was third, Shawn "Mad Dog" McConnell finished fourth, and Marquez was fifth.

Marquez kicked off the heats with an impressive win over McConnell and Venegas. Fishback beat Michael Raines in the second heat. Aaron Fox led the third heat before doing a 360˚ spin on the third lap and handed the lead and the win to "Flyin" Mike Faria.

Fox redeemed himself at the start of the second round by beating Fishback. Venegas beat McConnell for his first win of the evening. Castro beat Bobby "Boogaloo" Schwartz to end round two.

Castro began the final round by beating Faria for his second straight win. Venegas beat Fishback for his second win in a row in event 15. McConnell beat Schwartz in the final heat.

Rocco Scopellite defeated Brandon Leedy in a runoff to fill the final spot in the semis.

Fishback and Castro finished one-two in the first semi to transfer to the main event. Venegas won the second semi for his third straight win and was followed into the main event by McConnell. Marquez made a brilliant trap from the outside and held off Faria to win the Last Chance and take final berth in the main event.

Joe Donaldson put together four smooth laps and won the Support Main Event. Jake Myers finished second, Carl Gazafy was third, Brad Moreau finished fourth, Tim McGrath was fifth, and Mike Salyer was credited with sixth.

Kevin Fife led the first three laps of the Support B Main Event, but Craig Sprecher went by as they entered turn one the final time. Fife tried hard to regain the lead, but Sprecher was able to hold him off and claimed victory. Kip McClain was third and Brad Russell was credited with fourth.

Kurtis Hamill led the first two laps of the Youth 250cc Main Event but drifted wide on the third lap and Broc Nicol slipped by for the lead and the win. Hamill held on to second and Braden Sauer was third.

Nicol passed Gino Scopellite at the end of the first lap of the Youth 200cc First Division Main Event and never looked back on his way to winning two trophies on the evening.

Michael Wells led the Youth 200cc Second Division Main Event before Maverick Molloy went by as they entered turn three. Molloy was pressured by Shea Bendykowski and then went down as they exited turn two the second time. Bendykowski cruised from there and was first to the checkered flag. Wells finished second, and Molloy was third.

Tristan Britt led from start to finish and was victorious in the Pee Wee Main Event. Brandon Spinella finished second and Luke Whitcomb was third.

The Night of Legends included an autograph signing featuring many top speedway racers from the past and the present. Among those participating was Penhall himself, Schwartz, Faria, McConnell, Castro, Billy Hamill, Dennis Sigalos, Sonny Nutter, Bill Cody, Steve Lucero, and many others.
