Jimmy Fishback went unbeaten to win the third meeting at Victorville this season, but he will be the first to admit luck was on his side. Having won all 4 of his heats, he picked gate 4 for the Main. Michael Raines chose gate 1, Buck Blair 3, leaving Josh Abbott with 2. It was Blair and Raines who got away fastest with Fishback left for dead at the back. However, Fishback soon got by Abbott and then Raines, though Raines surprised many by fighting back to take 2nd. Blair, who was a comfortable leader by now, hit disaster when he bike failed at the start of lap three. This gave Raines, who dived inside, a brief lead, though Fishback claimed it back coming out of turn 2 as he has the dirt line. A determined Raines chased Fishback to the flag but the 2009 Track Champion held on for the victory.

Rick Fehrman won Division Two after a fierce battle with Marvin Sonnier, whilst Tony DeAlmeida was three for three, winning Third Division once more. Nicholas Varner doubled up in both junior classes, with the combined Pee Wee and Powder Puff Class going to Flat Tracker Jaycee Jones. Joe Jones won the Sidecar Class with Matt Davis pinch hitting as passenger.

The event also featured the first of a three round Flat Track Series. Originally this was going to be a Flat Track only event but the later than expected opening of Costa Mesa meant a limited number of speedway entries were permitted.

Victorville is now dark for five weeks but returns with the 5th running of the Eliminapolis 500 on May 28th.
