Industry Racing, CA, USA - July 31

Billy "The Bullet" Hamill had his season-long winning streak at Industry Racing come to an end but it didn't deter him from capturing his seventh main event of the season at the track.

Hamill started in gate four but trapped the field at the start of the Scratch Main Event. Shawn "Mad Dog" McConnell, who started in gate three, chased after the former World Champion. Billy Hamill was finding plenty of traction on the dirt line but couldn't shake McConnell who was following the same path. Billy Hamill held the lead through three laps but still had McConnell was snapping at his heels. McConnell's bid ended just as he was taking the white flag when he slowed dramatically due to a flat rear tire. Billy Hamill led to the finish, Charlie "The Edge" Venegas was second, "Mad" Max Ruml finished third, and a visibly upset McConnell was credited with fourth.

The evening began on a sour note when Under 21 National Champion Gino Manzares lifted on the final corner and crashed. Tim Gomez was awarded the victory and Manzares withdrew from the meeting. Max Ruml beat former National Champion "Flyin" Mike Faria in event two. Hamill began his evening with a win over "Battling" Buck Blair. Venegas ended round one by beating McConnell.

McConnell used the outside to defeat Blair at the start of round two. Max Ruml defeated Tyson Talkington in event 12. Faria beat Gomez in the next heat. The last race of the second round saw Venegas beat Hamill out of the start and the two engaged in an intense battle before Venegas held on to the win and end Hamill's winning streak at 31 races. The two riders exchanged handshakes on the cool-down lap while the crowd cheered loudly in appreciation for the man who held the streak and the one who brought its conclusion.

McConnell started the third round by defeating Gomez for his second straight win. Blair beat Rocco Scopellite for his first win. Hamill defeated Brad Sauer for his second victory. Max Ruml finished the heats by beating Venegas to remain the only undefeated rider.

Venegas and McConnell finished one-two in the first semi and transferred to the main event. Hamill blazed to victory in the second semi with Max Ruml getting second to join him in the main.

Blair trapped from the outside and romped to victory in the Scratch Consolation. Gomez finished second, Faria was third, and Talkington was credited with fourth.

Chris Jones led the Second Division Main Event through the first corner but Braden Sauer charged underneath him on the back straight. Braden Sauer never looked back from there and collected the hardware for the second consecutive week. Danny Baker finished second, Eloy Medellin was third, and Jones ended up fourth.

Chris Wiggins patiently worked through traffic in the Third Division Main Event and slipped past Dan Eddy for the lead just before the white flag. Wiggins held on throughout the final lap for the win. Eddy finished second, Wade Whitcomb was third, Steve "Beach Ball" Brown finished fourth, Tony DeAlmeida was fifth, Ricky Carlisle finished sixth, and Rick Howard was seventh.

Kurtis Hamill matched his dad's effort by not only trapping the field from the outside but he led all the way en route to victory in the Junior 250 Main Event. Junior National Champion Broc Nicol finished second, Dillon Ruml was third, Dalton Leedy finished fourth, and Michael Wells was fifth.

Sebastian Palmese led from start to finish and won the Mini 150 First Division Main Event. Courtney Crone finished second and Gino Scopellite was third.

It took three attempts but when the dust settled the Martin Brothers put together a one-two finish in the Mini 150 Second Division Main Event with Alex Martin leading home Sterling Martin for the second week in a row. Tristan Britt was third, Jake Isaac finished fourth, Slater Lightcap was fifth, Sam Hagon finished sixth, and Travis Hamilton was credited with seventh.

Jake Kahl was on his way to victory in the Pee Wee Main Event when a crash behind him brought out the red flag. The victory was awarded to Kahl, Andrew Russell was second, Conner Salazar was third, Luke Whitcomb was fourth, and Steven Altinawi was fifth.
