Billy Janniro, a Champion many times over!

AMA National Champion Billy “The Kid” Janniro and Luke Becker travelled down from Northern California together and they went home with all of the First Division hardware from Industry Racing.

Becker and Gage Geist were lined up next to each other on the 20 yard line and at the front of the six-rider Handicap Main Event field. Becker got the better of Geist at the start and opened up a comfortable lead. Janniro, who started at the back on the 50 yard line, quickly knifed through the field and was in second early in the race. The veteran chased down the rookie and was on his back tire as they took the white flag. Becker remained on the low line while Janniro was making the cushion work. They entered the final corner in that formation and Becker narrowly edged Janniro for the win. Geist was third, Shawn “Mad Dog” McConnell finished fourth, Dillon Ruml was fifth, and Broc Nicol finished sixth.

Janniro didn’t allow the narrow defeat to distract him in the Scratch Main Event. He drew gate one and used it to his advantage by making a great start. “Mad” Max Ruml, just home after competing for the USA National Team in the Speedway World Cup, chased after Janniro the entire four laps but couldn’t force a mistake. Janniro was first to the finish line, Max Ruml had to settle for second, Charlie “The Edge” Venegas finished third, and McConnell was fourth.

Mike Dalbey led from start to finish and captured the victory in the Second Division Main Event. Rudy Laurer finished second, Rick Richards was third, and Nathan Siegel

Steve “Beach Ball” Brown led the Third Division Main Event in to turn one but Lewis Hughes went around the outside at the end of lap one. Hughes never looked back from there and went on to his first main event victory of the season. Wade Whitcomb finished third and George Yates was fourth.

Dylan Wagner led the Junior 250 Main Event for two laps before Michael Wells took over on the back straight. Wells led the next two laps but Sebastian “Big Daddy” Palmese was on his back tire on the final lap. Palmese slid underneath Wells as they entered the final corner and raced away with the victory. Wells had to settle for second, Jake Isaac was third, Wagner finished fourth, and James Blair was fifth.

Dakota Shockley led all five laps en route to victory in the Mini 150 Main Event. Charlie Trana was second, Luke Whitcomb finished third, Skylar Schnakenberg was fourth, Andrew Russell finished fifth, and Slater Lightcap was sixth.

Levi Leutz was the early leader of the Pee Wee Main Event. Travis Horn charged through the field and went past Leutz as they exited turn two the fourth time. Horn swiftly extended his lead and was first to the checkered flag. Leutz ended up second, Gunnar Haggard was third,Charli La Mere finished fourth, and Gavin Dryfka was fifth.
