The interruption in Industry Racing’s schedule for the Independence Day Holiday also interrupted the main event trend of new winners. Dillon Ruml raced through the program undefeated and became the first two-time main event winner at Industry Racing this season.

Ruml started from gate one and jumped into the lead at the start. The rider leading the chase behind him was Tim Gomez followed by Jimmy Fishback and Russell Green. Ruml established a comfortable lead right away while Gomez, Ruml’s former mechanic, continued to give chase. Ruml left little doubt, though, and cruised to the Scratch Main Event win. Gomez was second, Fishback finished third, and Green was fourth.

Green kicked off the heats with a victory over former Youth National Champion Jason Ramirez. Fishback used the outside to pass Bobby “Boogaloo” Schwartz and win event two. Ruml ended round one with a win ahead of Gomez.
Fishback started round two by earning his second straight win. Gomez beat Schwartz to win event eight. Ruml finished the second round by beating Green for his second win in a row.

Green started the final round of heats with his second victory. Ruml kept his perfect score alive with a win over Fishback. Gomez completed the heats by defeating Ramirez for his second straight win.

Ruml roared to victory in the first semi with Green also transferring to the main event. Gomez and Fishback finished one-two in the second semi to progress to the main.

Ramirez was victorious in the Scratch Consolation with Schwartz getting second, Michael Wells coming in third, and Joey Donaldson finishing fourth.

Rudy Laurer won both of his heats and completed his perfect night by winning his third straight Second Division Main Event. Hayley Perrault finished second, Lawrence McNutt was third, and Mike Miller finished fourth.

Greg Willis led the Third Division Main Event for a lap and a half before Dennis Osmer stormed up the inside for the lead. Osmer never looked back from there and took home his second victory of the season. Steve Brown finished second, Kevin Fiore was third, David Newsham finished fourth, Kevin Fife was fifth, and Willis was credited with sixth.

Luke Whitcomb defeated Andrew Russell to claim victory in the Junior 250 Main Event.

Northern California’s Nick Hohlbein led the six-racer Mini 150 Main Event from the start. Travis Horn charged through the field from the thirty yard line and was in second place on the second lap. Horn stalked Hohlbein and hoped to force a mistake. Hohlbein kept Horn at bay, though, and was first to the checkered flag. Jose Navarrete was third, Levi Leutz finished fourth, Gordon Teuber III was fifth, and Owen Williams finished sixth.

National Sidecar Champions Joe Jones and Tom Summers led all four laps to win the Sidecar Main Event. Bryan Motis and Russell Green were second, Ace Kale and Kevin Kale finished third, and Dillon Osborne and Ashley Gibbons were fourth.
